Cold-climate variant of the AeroSense-Mini60 wind sensor, qualified for sustained service in low-temperature and polar deployments.

AeroSense-Mini60-L is the low-temperature variant of the AeroSense-Mini60 series, optimised for long deployments in cold environments. It keeps the compact 0.6 kg AAS body with NMEA-0183 over RS485 by default, and adds cold-environment materials and lubrication for reliable wind data in alpine, polar, and high-latitude sites.

Overview

AeroSense-Mini60-L is the low-temperature variant of the AeroSense-Mini60 propeller wind sensor. It uses the same compact AAS plastic body and propeller-vane geometry as the standard AeroSense-Mini60, but adds cold-environment design upgrades so that the sensor remains reliable in polar, alpine, and northern-latitude installations.

Like the standard AeroSense-Mini60, it provides horizontal wind speed and direction with NMEA-0183 over RS485 by default and supports analog, Modbus RTU, CAN, SDI-12, and ASCII outputs to integrate with existing data acquisition systems.
