AeroSense-WS100

Wide-range propeller wind sensor (0-100 m/s) engineered for typhoon, severe weather, and extreme-condition observation.

AeroSense-WS100 is the super-range AeroSense-WS model, covering wind speeds from 0 to 100 m/s. It uses a PC housing rated to +70 °C with a stainless-steel shaft, and is tailored to typhoon monitoring, severe weather research, and high-exposure offshore sites.

Overview

AeroSense-WS100 is the wide-range model of the AeroSense-WS propeller wind sensor series. Built for typhoon monitoring, severe-weather research, and offshore exposed sites, it measures horizontal wind speeds from 0 to 100 m/s with the same mechanical assembly as the AeroSense-WS60 and AeroSense-WS70 but upgraded materials.

The housing is moulded from PC plastic and the wind-speed shaft is stainless steel, giving the sensor a -55 to +70 °C operating window. The AeroSense-WS family is widely used across marine, transportation, agricultural and forestry, polar, photovoltaic, and wind-power meteorology.
