AeroSense-WS60 is the low-range model of the AeroSense propeller wind series. Its propeller-and-vane design delivers stable horizontal wind speed and direction data with a carbon-steel shaft, AAS plastic body, and rugged construction for long-duration outdoor service.

Overview

AeroSense-WS60 is the standard-range variant of the AeroSense propeller wind series, providing reliable horizontal wind speed and direction measurement up to 60 m/s. The sensor integrates a tail vane, propeller, head cone, wind-speed shaft, mounting post, and junction box into a single weatherproof assembly.

The body is moulded from UV-resistant and oxidation-resistant AAS plastic, which keeps the housing from yellowing or fatiguing over extended outdoor service. The unit fits marine environmental monitoring, transportation meteorology, agriculture and forestry, polar and high-altitude stations, and wind- and solar-power sites.
