AquaBuoy

Lightweight, crane-free floating buoy carrying a configurable multi-parameter water quality stack with self-cleaning sensors and wireless data transmission.

AquaBuoy is a compact disc-shaped floating buoy designed for fast, single-person deployment. It hosts a configurable suite of fluorescence dissolved oxygen, four-electrode conductivity, optical turbidity, chlorophyll-a, blue-green algae, pH, ORP, NH4-N, UV254 COD, and oil-in-water sensors — each with a self-cleaning brush — and streams data back over GPRS, 3G, 4G, or NB-IoT.

Crane-Free Deployment

Compact 73 cm × Ø80 cm body is light enough to launch by hand from a small boat or dock.

Multi-Parameter Payload

Configurable DO, conductivity, turbidity, chlorophyll, BGA, pH, ORP, NH4-N, COD, and oil sensors.

Self-Cleaning Sensors

Integrated brush wipers keep optical and electrochemical sensors stable with minimal field service.

Solar-Powered

45 W solar panel with 12 V / 54 Ah battery for continuous remote operation.

Ø80 cm Float

Buoy body Ø80 cm with Ø92 cm stainless protective ring for mooring and impact.

73 cm Tall

Compact above-water profile keeps wind loading and visual impact low.

Optical & Electrochemical

Supports fluorescence DO, 4-electrode conductivity, ISE NH4, UV COD, and more.

GPRS / 3G / 4G / NB-IoT

Cellular and low-power IoT telemetry options for remote sites.

Low-Maintenance

Self-cleaning brushes on each sensor reduce site visits and biofouling drift.

Overview

AquaBuoy is a compact, solar-powered surface platform built for fast deployment of a multi-parameter water-quality monitoring station. The disc-shaped float, integrated solar panel, and stainless outer ring deliver a stable observation platform without requiring a crane or specialist vessel.

The AquaBuoy payload bay accepts any combination of Luminsens / Zenocean self-cleaning sensors — fluorescence dissolved oxygen, four-electrode conductivity, optical turbidity, chlorophyll-a, blue-green algae, pH, ORP, NH4-N, UV254 COD, and oil-in-water — making it well suited to aquaculture, urban water networks, lake and reservoir monitoring, and coastal water quality networks.

Onboard telemetry covers GPRS, 3G, 4G, and NB-IoT, so the same buoy can be deployed in cellular-rich harbours or low-power IoT networks without hardware changes.
