Overview

AquaSense-Chl is an optical chlorophyll-a fluorometer that uses modulated excitation and coherent detection to lift sensitivity and reject ambient light. The reagent-free optical method avoids consumables and chemical waste, and the optional self-cleaning brush keeps the optical window free of biofilm for long-term deployments — even in highly productive water.

The probe outputs RS485 with the Modbus RTU protocol, making it a drop-in fit for AquaSense-Multi multi-parameter sondes and OceanBuoy / OceanBed observation systems. It is widely used for algal-biomass tracking, harmful-algal-bloom monitoring, and ecological water-quality research.
