AquaSense-Turb

90° infrared scattering turbidity sensor with low drift, light-source temperature compensation, and self-cleaning option for continuous online monitoring.

AquaSense-Turb uses a 90° infrared scattering principle with fibre-optic light delivery, custom optical polishing, and software algorithms that keep drift low and immunity to ambient light high. The sensor operates reliably even in full sunlight, tolerates close-up mounting, and is unaffected by sample colour thanks to built-in light-source temperature compensation.

Stable & Drift-Resistant

Tight optical path and software algorithms minimise long-term drift.

AquaSense-Turb Overview

AquaSense-Turb is an optical turbidity sensor built around a 90° infrared scattering geometry. The fibre-optic light path, custom polished optics, and on-board software algorithms keep long-term drift low and let the probe operate directly under sunlight without false readings.

The optics are engineered to tolerate close-in obstacles — less than 5 cm clearance — which is useful for in-pipe and tank installations. The sensor is also immune to sample colour interference thanks to integrated light-source temperature compensation, and only 30 mL of standard solution is required to complete a full calibration.
