AquaSense-Oil

Single-path UV oil-in-water sensor with automatic suspended-solids rejection, turbidity compensation, self-cleaning brush, and RS485 / Modbus output for continuous monitoring.

AquaSense-Oil uses a single UV light path that automatically rejects interference from suspended solids, delivering more stable and reliable oil-in-water readings without reagents. Built-in turbidity compensation and a self-cleaning brush keep the sensor accurate during long-term, unattended deployments.

Overview

AquaSense-Oil is a UV fluorescence oil-in-water sensor designed for leak detection, environmental compliance, and continuous online monitoring. The single UV light path is engineered to automatically reject interference from suspended solids, delivering more stable readings than dual-path designs — without the need for reagents or consumables.

Built-in turbidity compensation and a self-cleaning brush keep the optical window clean for long-term unattended deployments, so the sensor stays accurate even in challenging effluent and harbour applications. The RS485 / Modbus RTU interface integrates directly into AquaSense-Multi sondes and shore- and buoy-based telemetry systems.
